Celebrate the vibrant colours and unique forms of Australia’s native flora! In this workshop, kids will explore the stunning flowering gums that inspired artist Kate Hudson’s work, on display in the BHCAC gallery.  Using bold shapes and bright hues, participants will learn how to capture the essence of these iconic blossoms in their own drawings.

Through guided exercises, we’ll focus on:

  • Observing natural patterns and textures
  • Experimenting with colour to create lively compositions
  • Building confidence in freehand drawing

Kids will leave with a beautiful artwork and fresh skills to keep creating at home. Perfect for young artists who love nature and colour!

Students are invited to attend a walk through the exhibition with the Whitehorse ArtSpace Arts and Heritage Officer. Prior to the workshop at 12pm - 12.30pm meet in exhibition space. Workshop from 12.30pm - 2pm.
