This exhibition is an invitation to let imagination run free. Rewilding calls on us to pay attention to the living world in all its intricate beauty; to encourage diversity, rethink conventions, and find new ways to coexist and collaborate. For papermakers, it's a prompt to explore wild possibilities in paper arts.
Working with plant fibres, seaweed, recycled paper and other materials, the contributing artists bring their ingenuity and skill to handmaking paper, momigami, pulp painting and casting, folding, cutting, sculpting, bookbinding, printing, eco-dyeing, weaving, collage and more... The possibilities are endlessly fascinating.
A family-friendly exhibition for anyone interested in art, craft, working with organic materials, and sustainability.
