Monika has been working as a visual artist for over 10 years. Her main art project is exploring the geometries in nature and expressing them in an aesthetic language. The mysteries in nature and how things grow is very fascinating. She also enjoys working with drawings on paper and weaving with natural elements. Monika has Bachelor and Masters Coursework in Fine Art and to support her skills, Monika also has a teaching degree so she can share her skills with young aspiring artists.

Inspiration

Monika is highly inspired by land artists such as Andy Goldsworthy and Chris Drury, and how they use natural elements to create their work. Along with Monika’s interest in geometry, she is also inspired by Leonard Da Vinci’s drawings and his geometric findings.
