Box Hill Historical Society presents: Changing architectural fashions a talk by Whitehorse Council’s Heritage Architect

Box Hill Historical Society’s annual Heritage Week talk will this year feature a presentation by Council’s Heritage Advisor, Ian Coleman.  He will speak on the changing styles and fashions in residential architecture in Whitehorse over the past 160 years, and show examples of each. Ian will outline the features and characteristics of Victorian, Federation, Interwar, Mid-Century Modern and late-20th century housing found in the municipality.  If you’re interested in finding out about house styles and periods, this is the talk for you!
