Meaning “little stabs”, Sashiko uses colourful cotton thread and fabrics to add geometric patterns for decorative purposes or as a visible mending technique to reinforce fabrics fostering mindfulness and sustainability. Hear about the history of the practice, learn different stitching techniques, discuss project ideas and take materials home with you to support your new-found skills!

You take all this home with you to continue building your Sashiko skills and apply them to a project of your choosing!
What you need to bring on the day:
- A ruler with clear markings.
- A pair of scissors (embroidery or fabric preferable).
- A set square if you have one.
