Japanese Plates

Come along and learn the age-old tradition of Japanese Plate Making. During the first lesson students will learn how to use the slab technique and textured impressions to create their own unique plates and bowls. During the second lesson students will apply a range of decorative techniques to their creations including staining with underglazes, applying gloss glazes, melting glass and learning how to apply the tissue transfer technique. No experience necessary.
