About Ingrid
Ingrid has been working in Melbourne as a professional potter for the past 10 years. Her day to day work in recent years has been functional tableware – mostly bespoke for restaurants around Australia. Ingrid started pottery as an enjoyable pastime and then went on to study at TAFE. As Ingrid steps back from running a commercial studio, she finds herself thinking about different ways of being a potter. One of the things Ingrid enjoys very much is passing on her experience by teaching.
Inspiration
Materials – clay is a wonderful medium to work in – with endless possibilities for exploration. Often food will inspire the tableware Ingrid makes.
