In September, we will host a Combined Harvest Share event for local harvest share communities and backyard food growers across Whitehorse. Come and take part in a group discussion on all things vegetable gardening as we head into Spring! Gardeners are encouraged to bring any excess seeds, seedlings, harvest and knowledge to share with the community.
There will be gardening demonstrations, a compost tour, garden and house tours, and a pop-up soup stand with soup for sale!
The group is made up of both seasoned and novice growers, and the event is organised by Whitehorse Urban Harvest and Strathdon House volunteers in collaboration with the Newhope Food Swap.
