Meet Lize

Lize Myburgh is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at RMIT, majoring in Ceramics. She is an emerging artist who started making ceramics in programs similar to those offered by Box Hill Community Arts Centre since she was 6 years old, she has gone on to make ceramics into her professional career. Lize loves to focus on exploring the technical limitations of the medium of clay through play and brings those activities into the classroom to share with her students.

Inspiration 

Lizes personal work is inspired by technical processes, creating mostly functional work. Her surface decoration draws from natural elements in both imagery and colour combinations.
