Meet Maja
Maja Gajić is a visual artist and educator with a PhD in Fine Arts. Originally from Serbia and now based in Melbourne, she has over five years of teaching experience in drawing and painting.
Her artistic practice is inspired by the natural world and explores the relationship between people and the environment through drawing, printmaking, painting, and the use of natural materials. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has participated in artist residencies in France, China, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Maja enjoys helping students develop confidence in their creative abilities while building strong observational drawing skills. Her teaching approach combines technical guidance with careful observation, encouraging participants of all experience levels to engage more closely with the natural world.
