Celebrate Diwali with an afternoon of creativity, conversation and High Chai.
Bringing together the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional sip and paint with the flavours and warmth of a Diwali-inspired High Chai, this special workshop invites participants to unwind and create in the beautiful spring surroundings of Strathdon House & Orchard, overlooking the heritage gardens and vegetable patch.
Working in a relaxed painting environment using acrylic paints as the primary medium, participants can choose their own subject—from local birds, heritage architecture and seasonal flora to a simple memory map of a place that is meaningful to them, inspired by Santosh Mahale’s distinctive approach to capturing the essence of place.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or simply looking for a creative afternoon with friends, the workshop is designed to be welcoming, social and enjoyable, with guidance provided every step of the way.
All painting materials, High Chai and festive refreshments are provided. No previous drawing or painting experience is required.
