A mixed-level class for anyone interested in exploring ceramics through hand building and wheel throwing. Beginners will learn core skills like clay preparation, decorating, glazing, and safe studio practices, while more experienced participants can develop their own projects with guidance. Wheel instruction includes centring, forming, trimming, and finishing.
Clay must be purchased separately. All ceramics classes have a limit of 2.5kg of glazing and firing costs included in the course fee. The cost of any additional glazing and firing will be charged at $14.5 per kilo and invoiced by BHCAC at the end of the term.
BYO apron, towel, and closed-toe shoes.
