Box Hill Community Arts Centre is proud to present a joint mosaic exhibition featuring works by the Black Box Mosaic

In this exhibition local artists from the Alcove Art Group create works inspired by rich diversity of plants and animals that call Whitehorse home.

Visit the enchanting Schwerkolt Cottage, explore the gardens, then make your own fairy house inside the Museum. Kids can forage the extensive grounds to find twigs, leaves and petals to add to their fairy house.

Learn to make pottery pieces on the ceramic wheel. Kids will embark on a journey of creativity as they learn the fascinating techniques of wheel throwing, under the expert guidance of our ceramic tutors.

Featuring a selection of works generously loaned from the Gippsland Art Gallery in Sale, which holds the most comprehensive public collection of Annemieke Mein’s extraordinary art. The exhibition includes her iconic three-dimensional textiles, preparatory drawings, samplers, and showcases that reveal the artist’s in-depth creative process.

Visit 'Nature Revealed' exhibition to gain a glimpse into the methods and techniques the artist employs to create her textile masterpieces, through the five educational showcases. Kids can also participate in creature spotting activity for the showcases and the wildlife in the exhibition.
